The Standard Visitor visa is a visa that allows individuals to travel to the UK for a number of reasons – this includes:

• A medical professional coming over to the UK for clinical attachment or observation.

• Applying for funding to start or run a UK business as a potential entrepreneur.

• Taking one of the following tests: Professional and Linguistic Assessment Board (PLAB) or the Objective Structural Clinical Examination (OSCE).
